Step 1 — White balance first. E1 assumes a warm-neutral starting point — approximately 5,200-5,500K for outdoor daylight. Correct white balance before applying for consistent results.

Step 2 — Apply E1 Warm Classic. The warm color, film grain, and tonal quality apply simultaneously.

Step 3 — Adjust Exposure and White Balance per photo. E1 handles the color identity. These two adjustments handle the per-photo differences.

On phone photos: apply at 80-85% strength.

What is the difference between E1 and E2? E1 is the clean, versatile baseline — restrained warmth that works everywhere. E2 Rich Warm adds more warmth in the midtones and fuller color — better for portrait sessions in warm natural light where more film richness is the goal.
