E7 is for portrait and lifestyle photographers whose primary shooting window is golden hour — the hour before sunset and the hour after sunrise — and who want a preset calibrated for the specific quality of that light.
For photographers whose aesthetic is built on warm, golden film color — wedding photographers delivering warm portrait galleries, lifestyle photographers whose content is consistently warm and golden, travel photographers in warm-climate environments.

The warmth is dimensional, not flat. Golden highlights, rich midtones, warm shadows — E7's warmth is layered through the tonal range the way film photography was warm, not applied globally like a filter.
It references late-afternoon light. E7's golden character is calibrated to the specific quality of warm afternoon and golden hour light.
It is the most flattering warm preset for skin. The golden highlight quality and rich midtone warmth of E7 are specifically suited to skin in warm light — portraits look golden and luminous rather than orange.

This preset captures the bold, saturated aesthetic and deep warm tones similar to the iconic E7 filters. It’s the perfect professional alternative for those wanting an intense, analog-inspired look that feels like a classic film still from a high-budget production. By emulating the high-contrast reaction of professional color film stocks, the E7 ensures your digital shots have a polished, developed finish that stands out on both desktop and mobile.

E7 works best in warm light conditions — golden hour, warm afternoon sun, warm interior light. In cool or neutral conditions, the warmth of E7 can read as heavy rather than golden.
White balance: preserve the warm ambient — 5,400-5,800K for golden hour, Tint +5 to +8. Do not over-warm before applying.
Portraits with E7: check Orange Saturation after applying — reduce by -3 to -5 if skin reads warm-orange rather than golden.
On phone photos: 78-82% strength.

What is the difference between E7 and E2 Rich Warm? E2 adds more warmth and color richness than E1 in the portrait register. E7 is the warmest preset in the collection with golden highlights and maximum warm character. E2 for portrait sessions in warm light, E7 for golden hour and the warmest ambient conditions.
Does E7 work for wedding photography? Yes — specifically for wedding portrait sessions in golden hour and warm outdoor light. For indoor reception photography in low light, E8 Dark Heritage is more appropriate.
