H6 is for fashion, commercial, and editorial photographers who work in outdoor summer conditions and want a preset that produces a polished, finished quality suited to professional and editorial contexts.
For photographers who use the warmer, more casual presets for lifestyle content and need a higher-contrast counterpart for fashion and commercial work in the same conditions.
-
The contrast is editorial, not harsh. H6's strong tonal separation creates the polished quality of editorial photography — clean edges, strong depth — without the harshness of simply pushing the Contrast slider.
The color stays clean under high contrast. The polychrome calibration of H6 keeps color present and controlled even as contrast increases — the result is bold and clean rather than oversaturated.
It produces the most finished-looking result in the collection. H6's combination of high contrast and clean color creates the quality of photography that has been carefully lit and carefully edited.

This preset captures the deep, earthy aesthetic and moody organic tones similar to the iconic H6 filters. It’s the perfect professional alternative for those wanting an analog-inspired look that feels organic and heavy. By emulating the color rendering of professional film stocks used for National Geographic-style storytelling, the H6 ensures your digital shots have a polished, cinematic finish that feels timeless and real.

H6 works best on well-exposed photos with strong inherent subject matter. High contrast amplifies both the qualities and the problems of a photo — correct exposure matters more with H6 than with the softer presets.
White balance: 5,000-5,500K for daylight. Preset strength: 82-85%. For portraits: 75-78% and add a Radial Gradient on the face with Highlights -10 and Shadows +8.
On phone photos: 78-80% strength.

What is the difference between H6 and H3 Cool Summer? H3 is cool with moderate contrast — the cool editorial color is the defining quality. H6 is the highest contrast preset — bold tonal separation with clean polychrome color. H3 for cool editorial color, H6 for maximum contrast finished quality regardless of temperature.
Is H6 suitable for everyday photography? H6 is calibrated for editorial and commercial photography where a polished, high-contrast result is appropriate. For everyday outdoor and lifestyle photography, H1 or H5 produce more natural results.
