Free Film Presets for iPhone — The Best Options in 2026
Two free film presets cover the two most popular film photography directions on iPhone. Clean analog — natural, warm, versatile. Warm moody — atmospheric, cinematic, deep. Both are professional quality presets, not simplified demos. Both install in Lightroom Mobile in two minutes with no subscription required.
The two free iPhone film presets
A6 — Clean Analog
Clean, natural analog film tones. Lifted blacks, soft highlight roll-off, slightly warm and muted color. The most versatile film preset in the shop — works across portrait, travel, lifestyle, and everyday iPhone photography in any natural lighting condition.
Best for: everyday photography, travel, lifestyle content, portrait sessions in natural light.
M5 — Warm Dark
Warm, cinematic, atmospheric moody quality. Deep shadows with warm color grading, muted color palette, emotional depth. The signature moody film look — adds the tonal weight and atmospheric quality that iPhone's HDR processing removes.
Best for: street photography, moody travel, atmospheric scenes, portraits with strong directional light.

iPhone-specific preset application
After applying on iPhone, reduce the preset amount to 75-80% using the slider at the bottom of the editing panel. iPhone photos have more contrast and saturation from computational photography — full-strength presets often read stronger than intended.
For the best results: reduce Sharpening to 20 and set Clarity to -10 before applying.

What to do after testing
Apply both presets to twenty of your photos. One direction will feel immediately more right than the other. That is your editing direction.
If A6 feels right — the Analog Film Archive (ten calibrated variations) is the natural next step.
If M5 feels right — the Moody Film Archive (six calibrated variations) is the natural next step.
Both give you a complete preset system for consistent film quality across all lighting conditions.
